HUKUM KEPLER

Hukum Kepler I, II dan III

1. Hukum I Kepler
Pada hukum persamaannya, Kepler menjelaskan tentang bentuk lingkaran orbit planet. Bunyi hukum ini sebagai berikut.
“Lintasan setiap planet mengelilingi matahari merupakan sebuah elips dengan matahari terletak pada salah satu titik fokusnya.

2. Hukum II Kepler
Hukum kedua Kepler menjelaskan tentang kecepatan orbit planet. Bagaimana kecepatan orbit planet tersebut? Perhatikan penjelasan berikut.
“Setiap planet bergerak sedemikian sehingga suatu garis khayal yang ditarik dari matahari ke planet tersebut mencakup daerah dengan luas yang sama dalam waktu yang sama.”
Coba kalian perhatikan Gambar berikut ini
Gambaran orbit planet sesuai hukum II Kepler
Garis AM akan menyapau lurus hingga garis BM, luasnya sama dengan daerah yang disapu garis Cm hingga DM. Jika tAB = tCD. Hukum kedua ini juga menjelaskan bahwa dititik A dan B planet harus lebih cepat dibanding saat dititik C dan D.
3. Hukum III Kepler
Pada hukum ketiganya Kepler menjelaskan tentang periode revolusi planet. Periode revolusi planet ini dikaitkan dengan jari-jari orbit rata-ratanya. Perhatikan penjelasan berikut.
“Kuadrat periode planet mengitari matahari sebanding dengan pangkat tiga rata-rata planet dari matahari.”
Hubungan di atas dapat dirumuskan secara matematis seperti persamaan berikut.

Contoh Soal :
Planet jupiter memiliki jarak orbit ke matahari yang diperkirakan sama dengan empat kali jarak orbit bumi ke matahari. Periode revolusi bumi mengelilingi matahari 1 tahun. Berapakah periode jupiter tersebut mengelilingi matahari?

    yaitu benda langit yang mengelilingi matahari dengan orbits elips. Ekor komet selalu menjauhi matahari karena ada semburan awan matahari.

4. ASTEROID
    yaitu planet kecil yang terletak diantara orbit Mars dan Jupiter. Asteroid terbesar adalah CERES.

5. METEOROID, METEOR, DAN METEORIT
    Meteoroid yaitu benda-benda langit yang melayang di angkasa luar.
    Meteor yaitu meteoroid yang jatuh bergesekan dengan atmosfer bumi
    Meteorit yaitu meteor yang jatuh hingga ke permukaan bumi.
